Celebrity Fan Web – Exciting news for Spider-Man fans! Sony Interactive Entertainment has officially announced that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be available on PC starting January 30, 2025. This information was revealed at the New York Comic Con 2024. The game will be accessible on both Steam and the Epic Games Store.
According to reports from Engadget on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, the game will come in two editions. Standard Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition, each offering exclusive features and bonuses. In the Standard Edition, aside from the main Spider-Man game. Players will receive all updates from the PS5 version, including 14 new costumes, Ultimate Levels, custom symbiote suits, and a new action figure mode for photos.
The Digital Deluxe Edition offers even more exclusive content. Players can enjoy new costumes for both Peter Parker and Miles Morales. With early access to the Arachknight suit for Peter and the Shadow-Spirit suit for Miles.
Additionally, players will receive a web grabber gadget and extra items for photo mode. This new PC version of Spider-Man offers an entirely fresh gameplay experience.
Players will take on the roles of both Peter Parker and Miles Morales as they navigate through the streets of New York, facing iconic villains from the Spider-Man comics such as Kraven, Black Cat, and Scorpion.
One of the most anticipated characters, Venom, will also appear, serving as the main antagonist of the game.

Marvel Game Awards
Earlier this year, Sony PlayStation announced several awards for games released on PlayStation consoles through the PlayStation Blog Game of the Year 2023. Gillen McAllister, Manager of Content Communications at Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE). Revealed that the PlayStation awards span 18 categories based on polls from gamers.

Looking ahead to 2024, PlayStation gamers are most eagerly awaiting Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6). Which beat out Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Marvel’s Wolverine, and Dragon’s Dogma 2 as the most anticipated title.
Sony Releases Special Edition Marvel PS5
In mid-2023, Insomniac and Sony PlayStation also announced a special limited edition of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for the PlayStation 5 (PS5) console. The design of the PS5 cover and wireless controller was inspir by the Symbiote in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
Andrea Perez, Senior Vice President of Brand, Product & Services Marketing at PlayStation, explained that Venom and the Symbiote will pose major challenges for both Spider-Men in the game.
Jacinda Chew, Senior Art Director at Insomniac Games, mention that the design was inspired by the Symbiote, which symbolically takes over the console and controller. Though some red remains to represent the different ways players will experience the Symbiote takeover in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
